Every year, Kachina Chapter 28 has the opportunity to recognize some of our local industrys finest individuals and companies for their contributions.
To do this, We need your Help!!
Now is the time to start observing your co-workers, contractors, consultants, supervisors, and company leaders for the qualities that make them a good candidate for an award.
Please nominate members you believe meet the criteria detailed below for one or more of the award categories to receive consideration for these honors.

Employer of the Year
Advocates IRWA membership and participation at local, regional, or international levels?
Allows time off (with pay) while members attend Chapter and/or Association functions?
Pays member dues and/or for luncheons, continuing education courses, seminars, etc?
Encourages employees to serve on IRWA Committees or the Chapter Executive Board?
Supports IRWA by monetary donations or by providing equipment, meeting rooms, etc?
Recognizes the value of possessing the SR/WA designation, (i.e. increases pay, adds the designation to business cards, allows signature to include SR/WA, etc)?
Professional of the Year
How long has the individual been a member of IRWA? Of Chapter 28?
How active is this member in Chapter 28?
Has the individual served as an elected officer for any IRWA Chapter? What offices held?
What appointed Chapter positions has the individual held? For how long?
Has this individual served as a Chairperson or as a Member of any:
Chapter committee? Which and for how long?
Regional committee? Which ones?
International committee? Which ones?
Regularly attends monthly member meetings, executive board meetings, local education seminars, regional forums, and international seminars?
Participates at these functions as a speaker, program coordinator, or committee member?
Willingly gives his/her time to help at Chapter/Regional/International levels? If so, what responsibility has this person completed in a professional and successful manner?
Has this individual come up with suggestions that help raise money at the Chapter, Regional, or International level? What ideas?
Is this individual an SR/WA? If so, for how long? If not, is s/he a Candidate?
Is this individual an IRWA Instructor?
Has this person written or provided an article for the newsletter or R/W Magazine?
Participates in other organizations that benefit the community/nation? In what capacity?
Does this individual present the professional image that the IRWA seeks to project to the public? --- In other words, does this person represent the association in a professional, friendly, and selfless manner promoting and serving the membership, rather than his/her own personal agenda, interests and goals?

How long has the individual been a member of IRWA? Of Chapter 28?
How active is this member? Has s/he served as a Board Member or on any committees?
Advocates IRWA membership to others?
Is available and willing to undertake special projects?
Puts forth above & beyond effort to consistently assist others (especially new members)?
Community involvements? (a plus but NOT a requirement)
Presents a professional and personable image?
Represents IRWA in a manner consistent with Association Code of Ethics and guidelines?
